Supporting transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse clients requires more than an understanding of identity— You’ll need the clinical knowledge and practical skills to navigate the systems and processes involved in accessing care.

This training, lead by ASh tobin, LPC, will provide therapists with practical guidance on writing clear, thoughtful, and clinically appropriate referral letters for gender-affirming care, including surgeries and hormone treatment. We’ll also explore broader considerations for providing competent, affirming care to LGBTQIA+ clients.

Participants will learn:
